Soprano Rachael Henderson acheived her Bachelor of Arts in Voice from Florida State University, and studied acting and theatre
at the Alliance Theater and at Actor's Express. She has studied voice with Kit Prothero and Kathleen
Arecchi, and has performed as a member of several vocal ensembles both in and out of university. Mrs. Henderson
has extensive theatre ensemble experience, especially with the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, where she has also performed
solo roles, including Hebe in Orpheus and the Underworld, and Frou-Frou in The Merry
Widow. She has been featured in La Rondine(Atlanta Opera) and in multiple
Operafestival di Roma productions, including Suor Angelica. Some of her musical theatre
roles include: Rapunzel in Into the Woods; Patty in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown;
and Maria in The Sound of Music. For Melpomene Records, Rachael Henderson originates the
role of Madame de Tourvel on the Complete Original Concept Recording of Dangerous Liaisons.
