Actress,
singer and dancer, Kristie Krabe has been active in the theatre all her life, beginning with a children's variety act
"The kids Next Door." The Atlanta native earned her Bachelor of Arts in Classical Voice from Boston
University, where she studied under Metropolitan Opera tenor Richard Cassily. She portrayed Chief Stoat in the
National Tour of Wind in the Willows, performed Off-Off-Broadway in As bees in Honey
Drown, and appeared in several north-east stock productions, working with notables such as Jason Bateman. She
has appeared in numerous Boston productions including Nine, Once Upon a Matress, Sylvia, Joseph
and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Baby.
Now returned to Atlanta, she has been earning the acclaim of
local musical theatregoers ever since. Known for her commitment and enthusiasm, Ms. Krabe's prolific career has included Atlanta's
cornerstone stages, Actor's Express, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Stage Door Players, Aurora Theatre, Theater Arts Guild, Onstage
Atlanta, and others. Among the numerous roles to her credit, she has portrayed Hunyak in Chicago,
Kate Murphey in Titanic, Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime, and has become infamous
for her portrayal of cheerleader Debbie Benton in Debbie Does Dallas - The Musical (Dad's Garage).
For Melpomene Records, Kristie Krabe originates the role of Cécile Volanges in the Complete Original Concept
Recording of Dangerous Liaisons. She continues to charm audiences wherever she appears, including
winning landslide popularity with television audiences as a semi-finalist in WSB-TV's 2004 "Gimme
The Mike" competition.
