Maura Carey Neill
One of Atlanta's most remarkable theatre voices, Maura Carey
Neill has been winning the hearts of audiences and industry insiders since earning her Bachelor of Music Education degree
from Florida State University in 1996. She has worked with numerous Atlanta houses, including Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Onstage
Atlanta, Stage Door Players, Theatre Arts Guild, Theatre in the Square, Button Theatre, and others. Highlights from her
stage career include the role of Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Johanna in Sweeney Todd,
Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Maria in The Sound of Music, Ella Peterson
in Bells Are Ringing, Emma in Jekyll & Hyde, Dot in Sunday
in the Park with George, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. More recently Ms.
Carey Neill has reprised her role as Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense (Atlanta Lyric Theatre),
this time with Gwinnett's Button Theatre, where she has also choreographed a production of How
to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. For Melpomene Records, Maura Carey Neill originates the
role of the Marquise de Merteuil on the Complete Original Concept Recording of Dangerous Liaisons.
